Problem solving is a given. On this occasion, our client was staging a series of international events in Europe and Asia. Venue and audience sizes varied; so it required a set solution that was modular, scalable and easily transported. We developed a system of routed panels and connectors that could be reconfigured for a distinct look that was appropriate to the venue. Just as important – components could be flat packed to allow easy shipping.
The objective was to generate more sales from their Product Showcase. So we developed a “point of purchase” concept, and created a design that transformed the Salt Lake Convention Center into a product mall. There were 8 boutiques and 3 anchor stores – 1 for each corporate division. In this mall, attendees could sample products, watch demonstrations and make purchases. The strategy was so successful it has become standard at Nu Skin events.
It starts with knowledge – knowledge of the client, its culture, the brand, vocabulary, core values, and meeting objectives. By adding enough creative energy, we come up with a range of relevant themes. After collaborating with the client a choice is made; and this becomes the platform for developing the event logo and identity.
