Design/Art Director

Iacono Productions is looking for full time Design Director. This individual must have 5+ years professional experience with a core skill set of graphic and environmental design, along with presentation support media. Artistic, technical and communication abilities are essential to this position and require the following in order to become a candidate:

• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote (along with others)
• Assist in guiding the day-to-day operation of the Design Department. This includes overseeing and evaluating design work, monitoring and ensuring employee productivity, all while creating an energetic environment conducive to producing great work.
• Consult with the Creative Team, Producers and Account Executives on creative concepts, and then launch and shape the required design components for each presentation and/or production.
• Initiate and oversee the design and development for a variety of projects. This may include logo and identity work, set and display design, branding and wayfinding systems, new media development plus other communication and marketing materials.
• Attend client meetings to interpret design objectives, brainstorm creative concepts, and present fully realized concepts and designs.
• Positive attitude and amazing work ethic are critical

Animator/Motion Designer

Iacono Productions is looking for full time Motion Designer. This individual must have 2-4 years professional experience with a core skill set of animation, graphic design and multimedia. Artistic, technical and communication abilities are essential to this position and require the following in order to become a candidate:

• Advanced knowledge of AfterEffects (this will be your main tool)
• Extremely proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
• Basic knowledge but willing to learn Keynote, Cinema 4d and InDesign
• Consult with the Creative Team, Producers and Account Executives on creative concepts, and then launch and shape the required design components for each presentation and/or production.
• When time permits, candidate must have the ability to develop & design the “look” and “brand” of an assigned project. This may include a logo, an event identity, a wayfinding system, and/or new media designs or other collateral materials.
• Attend client meetings to interpret design objectives, brainstorm creative concepts, and present fully realized concepts and designs.
• Positive attitude and amazing work ethic are critical

Scenic Artist

Full time scenic artist needed

Description:

3dx scenic is seeking a full time scenic artist for business theatre events, entertainment venues and convention center display’s.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have experience with professional scenic painting practices, crew leadership and basic theatrical construction. The scenic artist will work with designers and project managers to create the desired scenic finishes, be responsible for day to day upkeep of the paint shop, create samples, and develop economical step by step processes for crew members to follow. Applicants should be able to work independently, be self motivated, and be able to create quality scenery and displays with little supervision. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator or AutoCAD is a big plus.

Pay will be BOE and a benefits package is included.

Video Producers

Iacono Productions is looking for video producers – an individual who could be added to staff and/or individuals who can serve as a freelance resource for specific projects. At Iacono Productions, video producers are responsible for a project from concept to completion. Ideal candidates would have experience in both corporate and commercial communications, but it is not essential.

The skill set required includes the ability to:

• analyze a project, identify needs and develop a realistic budget
• effectively interact and establish a collaborative and productive relationship with clients
• effectively collaborate on projects with the DP, editor, graphic designer, and other creative resources
• develop creative concepts – fully storyboarded – that sustain viewer interest and effectively communicate the key   messages
• develop an efficient production schedule that is consistent with the budget
• effectively coordinate and creatively direct video shoots
• effectively coordinate and creatively collaborate with the editor and other personnel involved in the post-production process

Being able to script would be a valuable, but not an essential skill for this position. Iacono Productions is also interested in line producers that can work on a freelance basis.

Freelance Editors

Iacono Productions is seeking creative and highly skilled freelance editors with at least 5 years of professional experience in post.  Artistic, technical, and communication abilities are essential.  This position offers the opportunity to travel and edit at various locations throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Requirements for serious consideration include:

• A strong understanding of video story-telling and creative visualization

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and internal team members

• Ability to work independently, seeing an edit through from start to finish

• Ability to independently manage and organize various forms of media

• Ability to work under tight deadlines while delivering high quality work in the time allotted

• Proficient with Avid Media Composer software

• Experience with P2, XDCAM, and tape-based workflows

• Working knowledge of Photoshop for video, and compression software

• Experience with DVD authoring, FCP, Premiere, After Effects, Boris FX, Motion, a plus

• Be able to travel for event assignments
