Freelance Video Producers

Iacono Productions is looking for experienced video producers for specific projects. At Iacono Productions, video producers are responsible for a project from concept to completion. Ideal candidates would have at least 5 years experience in both corporate and/or commercial communications, but it is not essential.

The skill set required includes the ability to:

• analyze a project, identify needs and develop a realistic budget
• effectively interact and establish a collaborative and productive relationship with clients
• effectively collaborate on projects with the editor, DP, graphic designer, and other creative team members
• develop creative concepts – fully storyboarded – that sustain viewer interest and effectively communicate the key   messages
• develop an efficient production schedule that is consistent with the budget
• effectively coordinate and creatively direct video shoots
• effectively coordinate and creatively collaborate with the editor and other personnel involved in the post-production process
• be able to travel for various assignments

Being able to script would be a valuable, but not an essential skill for this position.

Freelance Editors

Iacono Productions is seeking creative and highly skilled freelance editors with at least 5 years of professional experience in post.  Artistic, technical, and communication abilities are essential.

Requirements for serious consideration include:

• A strong understanding of video story-telling and creative visualization

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and internal team members

• Ability to work independently, seeing an edit through from start to finish

• Ability to independently manage and organize various forms of media

• Ability to work under tight deadlines while delivering high quality work in the time allotted

• Proficient with Avid Media Composer software

• Experience with file-based and tape-based workflows

• Working knowledge of Photoshop for video, and compression software

• Experience with DVD authoring, FCP, Premiere, After Effects, Boris FX, Motion, a plus

• Be able to travel for event assignments
